Surabaya, Following the success of the Indonesia Game Experience (IGX) Banten 2025 at TangCity Mall Tangerang on July 17-20, 2025, Indonesia’s largest gaming and technology festival will now return to Surabaya on an even more monumental scale!
IGX Surabaya 2025 will take place at Fairway Nine Mall on August 14-17, 2025, coinciding with the 80th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence. This event is part of a national roadshow that will span five major cities: Tangerang, Surabaya, Semarang, Bandung, and Jakarta.
IGX Surabaya 2025 will not only serve as a platform for the gaming community but also a strategic platform to spur digital economic growth, technology education, and cultural preservation. This spectacular collaboration with the Ethnic Indonesia Festival 2025 creates a perfect symbiosis combining the worlds of gaming, e-sports, digital technology, and the rich culture of the Indonesian archipelago.
The event will officially open on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. WIB in the Main Atrium, 2nd Floor, Fairway Nine Mall, Surabaya. The opening will be attended by several key figures from government, industry, and culture, including:

Entering a new era of digital entertainment, IGX 2025 presents a series of prestigious esports competitions ready to get your adrenaline pumping. Over 1,500 digital gamers will compete in various popular game categories, including Mobile Legends, Free Fire, and Counter-Strike, with a total prize pool of up to IDR 50 million. This event, open to the public, is free to participate by registering on the official IGX platform.
Carrying the visionary theme “Digital Intelligence for Urban Innovation: ICT & AI for Smart Governance, Education, and Industry”, the 6th edition of APTIKNAS Tech Summit will be a high-class discussion forum on the application of ICT & AI which will present leading speakers from government, academia, and industry including:

The APTIKNAS & Tech Summit will focus on discussions on the Implementation of AI for Smart Governance in regional governments, the digital transformation of the education sector based on cloud computing, and the integration of IoT in Industry 4.0 in East Java, as well as on the legal protection of digital innovation (cyber law framework).
Of course, a Technology & Gaming Gear exhibition will also be held, with more than 20 leading IT brands (Samsung, Acer, Hyte, Cube Sades, Telkomsel) showcasing their latest products, including a VR/AR & Edu-Tech Zone for hands-on experience.
Furthermore, cultural and MSME activities will be held, involving more than 50 local MSMEs participating in a Cultural Bazaar, including an exhibition of keris (Indonesian keris) and Indonesian heirlooms (“Preserving Heritage, Forging the Future”).
