IGX 2025 Semarang: AGKDI Emphasizes Strategic Role in the Gaming & Digital Content Ecosystem

Semarang, September 18, 2025 β€” After successful runs in Tangerang and Surabaya, Indonesia Game Experience (IGX) 2025 is now entering its third city on its national roadshow. This largest gaming and digital content industry event is organized by the Indonesian Game & Digital Content Association (AGKDI), with support from the Indonesian Ministry of Culture, APTIKNAS, APKOMINDO, APGI, and PERATIN.

IGX 2025 carries the theme of integration between culture, technology, and artificial intelligence (AI), and is designed as a catalyst to encourage the growth of the digital creative economy, especially in Central Java.

AGKDI and the Chairman’s Leadership: Uniting Games, Digital Content, and Culture

According to the General Chair of AGKDI, Hendri Andrigo Sutanto, the holding of IGX in Semarang is an important step in the association’s mission to strengthen the synergy between the gaming industry, digital content, and Indonesian culture.

“We want to ensure that games are not only seen as entertainment, but also as a means of education, cultural preservation, and a driver of the creative economy,” he stressed.

He hopes Semarang will grow as a hub for a thriving digital ecosystem, relying on community support and sponsorship.
